Palatine Travelers Updated 8/24/2015

Welcome to the Palatine Travelers Baseball website.

The Palatine Travelers Baseball and Softball is a Full-Time Travel program dedicated to making the better players even better.  The Palatine Travelers are the only affiliate of the Palatine Park District.

For the past 30 years, Palatine Travelers are synonymous with competitive, successful baseball and softball programs with many of our alumni moving on to successful high school, college and professional careers.

It is the purpose of the Palatine Travelers to create and sustain an environment to nurture competitive baseball and softball through the Palatine Park District.  The Palatine Travelers hold open try outs each season in front of unbiased and independent outside raters who assess the players in regards to fielding, throwing, and hitting.  In addition to the players, the coaches are required to submit an application each season and are reviewed and evaluated by the Palatine Travel Committee to insure we have the most qualified and experienced coaches working with your kids.

The Palatine Travelers are proud to be one of the best and most cost-effective Travel programs in the area utilizing many Park District resources such as the Player Academy, Palatine baseball's very own baseball/softball instructional school located at the Palatine Community Center. In addition, utilize the 40 plus baseball fields to practice and play games.

The Palatine Travelers teams have competed in major tournaments around the nation and have a standing invitation for the coveted Cooperstown Classic in July, the Ripken Classic in July, and many teams have attended the Omaha Slumpbuster tournament during the College World Series.  Additionally, the Palatine Travelers are proud to host three of the Midwest’s finest tournaments in the Casey Pohl Memorial Baseball Tournament, the Vince Luccesse Baseball Classic as well as the Stingray Softball Showdown.
